Our studio is centered around our vintage 32 channel Neve 8108 console originally purchased by George Lucas for mixing films for the Star Wars franchise. This console was used to mix films in the Screening Auditorium in Building C. The Return of the Jedi, Willow, Indiana Jones and MANY other films were mixed on this very desk for Spielberg and Lucas Film! We are blessed to have this piece of history in our studio - and it SOUNDS like bliss - especially on vocals!
We are getting sounds to the computer from the Neve through Universal Audio Apollo audio interfaces. We have an Apollo x8p and an Apollo 16. We use Pro Tools. We are loaded up with plugins in addition to the beautiful sounding Neve 8108 console pres and EQs.
We have a generous selection of microphones by Neumann, Stam, AKG, Shure, Audix, EV and many many others.
We use the Slate Raven system for controlling Pro Tools. It rocks. We also have the Avid Artist Mix and Avid Artist Control connected via Eucon to control our Pro Tools software.
